The Journey of Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd
In 2018, while pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance option at KCA University, Austine, the Director, embarked on a journey that would lay the foundation for Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd. The business idea of soap making originated from a class assignment in his Entrepreneurship unit. Concurrently, Austine worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University’s faculty of education under the Student Engagement Program, balancing academics, work, and his budding entrepreneurial venture.
By 2019, Austine identified an opportunity to utilize the unsold liquid detergents he was producing. This insight led to the establishment of Bluestar Professional Cleaners. Despite six months of relentless marketing without a single conversion, persistence paid off when Bluestar secured its first client in Kilimani, Nairobi. This pivotal moment also marked the acquisition of the first office space at Muthaiga Business Center, Nairobi.
In March 2020, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic presented another opportunity. A former client sought fumigation services, leading to the inception of Bluestar Pest Controllers Ltd. The same year, Bluestar Movers was also registered, expanding the company’s portfolio.
With the completion of his course at KCA University in 2021, Austine dedicated himself fully to the business, strategically focusing on the property care sector.
2022 marked a significant milestone with the incorporation of Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd as the parent company, consolidating the diverse range of property care solutions under one umbrella.
In 2023, further expansion saw the introduction of Bluestar Gardening and Landscaping, Bluestar Home Renovations and Remodeling, and Bluestar Design Group Ltd, specializing in interior design and office partitioning.
By 2024, all subsidiaries were independently registered under Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd, reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellence and comprehensive property care services.
Today, Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd. has proudly served over 8,000 clients across Kenya, with 95% of them confidently recommending our services. Austine envisions a prosperous future for Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd, aspiring to be the leading property care company in Africa, driven by unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction and excellence in every service provided.
